BARCELONA vs LEVSKI SOFIA
Barcelona will start the defence of the title against the weakest team in the group. In an extremely hard group with Chelsea and Werder Bremen, not only a victory is necessary but also a good goal difference, in case things go wrong at the end of this first round. Barcelona knows this and I am sure they will start their new European campaign in style. For today, manager Rijkaard has decided to make a few rotations leaving out of the starting Marquez and Sylvinho. Their replacements will be Puyol, who has enjoyed a rest during last match and Gio. Basically this team has all the looks of scoring many goals tonight and entertain their home fans. LetÂ’s not forget the great form of their strikers and midfielders.
Levski Sofia has no chance of beating Barça. It looks like they have been in good form in their league, but this league is of low level and you cannot compare with La Liga. There is a huge quality gap and I do not believe they are capable of holding Barça when hardly any team of La Liga is able to do that.
Barcelona has a lot of confidence at the moment. Playing at home this team is unstoppable and if they were capable of scoring three against Osasuna last Saturday(could have been lots more), I am sure that they can at least repeat that same score today.
Barcelona should win this easily.
