Serbia might has been undefeated and with no goals conceded in this group but had drawn 3 of their 6 games played, 2 coming from home and from their last 2 games. 2 wins were against minnow San Marino, losing all their 7 games so far and 1 against a weak Belgium team. However in their last game, they can only manage a 0-0 home draw with them.
Lithuania proves to be a hard team to defeat, with the only lost coming from their last away game against Spain which the host laboured to a narrow win. Goals are hard to come by for Lithuania, but they have a good defence.
2nd place Serbia is fighting with Spain for top spot whilee 3rd place Lithuania still got a chance to claim 2nd place, been only 3 points off Serbia. Serbia has many quality players but it seem goals are not coming in their qualifier. In their last 3 friendly, they had not won any games, though they did score some goals. Lithuania on the other hand, got a win in their last friendly.
Lithuania might has lost 2 regulars in attack but their strength is in their defence. 3 regular defenders are missing but I don't see they make a different as I'm sure Lithuania will be very defensive with their midfielders falling back to aid in defence. Anyway they had a quality striker in Edgaras Jankauskas (Hearts and formerly from CL champion Porto), Saulius Mikoliunas (Hearts), Zydrunas Karcemarskas (Dinamo Moscow), Aurelijus Skarbalius (Brondby) and Gediminas Paulauskas (Ekranas, Lithuania league leader).
Expect a low scoring match and I don't see Serbia winning by a big margin even if they win. Lithuania will go all out for it as they fight for 2nd place. Recommend to
