Rules & Regulations

You MUST ensure that by participating, you are adhering to all RULES & REGULATIONS as laid forth for the Championship.
(last amended on 27 March 2002)


RULES
1. All matches are in sets of 4 racks.
3pts will be given for a win, whilst 1pt will be given for a draw.

2. Player who creates the table will have to set the timer to 30 secs. This will give equal chances to both participant contesting in the match as the time given to take a shot is equal.

6. If any of the 2 participants in a RACK game clicks CANCEL during a game, both will have 1 point forfeited.

7. If a player pauses for more than 5 mins while taking his turn, he will be considered to have forfeited the rack.

5. You MUST ensure that you COMPLETE all racks for all games as per schedule given.

6. Should you decide to withdraw, you will be BANNED from further participation - as withdrawal between on-going schedule will AFFECT ALL contestants - so please, think hard,Â…think commitment!



NOTICE
You will need to have a registered NICKNAME in yahoo – without which, you will not be able to access the gaming rooms at http://games.yahoo.com/games/login?page=pl
*INTERMEDIATE section if preferable, as its not so crowded there, and the response time is faster.

2. Pls. ensure that you log on to MIRC as often as possible*, under #soccermamak channel to keep yourself updated on match arrangements, which rooms to go to, etc.
*usually from 8pm onwards

3. Participants are allowed to schedule their own matches, as it usually takes both parties to agree on the time and place/room to conclude their sets of matches. Otherwise, arrangements can usually be made at #soccermamak channel in IRC between the parties involved.
